Industry experience is also vital. It gives us a look at current tools, technologies, and methods used by professionals. This experience makes us more adaptable and competitive when we start our careers.
Colleges need to balance theory with practice. Adding more project-based learning, partnerships with companies, and internships to the curriculum can make a big difference. It's time to shift towards an approach that gives students both the knowledge and the skills they need to succeed.
We should support changes that provide more practical experiences for students. This way, we can ensure that engineering graduates are not just knowledgeable but also capable and ready to contribute to the industry.
