I was so very pleased to speak at the Indie Books International Trusted Advisor Rainmaker Summit last weekend in Chicago. I was asked to speak about the connection between #incivility and #marketing your business. At first glance, you might think that there is NO connection. However, I made the point that EVERY client contact you have as a business owner IS #marketing your business. Your behavior is your core marketing message. #Stress levels in our country are at some of the highest ever recorded. This leads people to slip into their #stressrelatednegativebehaviors which quite often are #uncivil. #Businessleaders can treat their #employees with #disrespect which leads #employees to vent their frustration, often onto #customers and #clients. This is the #impression that people get of you and your business. What are some of your #stressrelatednegativebehaviors?
