Just completed another online course from SDA Bocconi School of Management on Financing and Investing in Infrastructure! The course focuses on how private investors approach infrastructure projects from the standpoint of equity, debt, and hybrid instruments. It also concentrates on the practical aspects of project finance: the most frequently used financial techniques for infrastructure investments. The repeated use of real life examples and case studies will allow students to link the theoretical background to actual business practices.

Happy to share that I have successfully completed the "Financing and Investing in Infrastructure" course from Bocconi University on Coursera. This comprehensive program deepened my expertise in infrastructure finance and investment, covering key areas such as: - Infrastructure as a strategic asset class. - Financing models and mechanisms for large-scale infrastructure projects. - Risk management and return analysis. - Public-private partnerships (PPPs) and legal frameworks. The course emphasized both theory and practical application, which has enhanced my understanding of the financial strategies that drive critical infrastructure development around the world.

🤑 I got it! 🙌🏾🎓 I successfully completed the 300-hour Finance and Investment course, scoring 91/100 as part of my Master’s in Finance and Investments at the Online University of Barcelona. This achievement means a lot to me because it’s outside my expertise as an engineer in logistics. Learning about finance has expanded my perspective and equipped me with valuable tools for personal decisions—and who knows, maybe for future career opportunities as well👩🏽💼 Some of the topics I worked on include: 📈 ETFs, index funds, stock and bonds 🏡 Real estate investment strategies 🤯 Risk management and behavioral finance 💰 Sustainable and impact investing 📊 Portfolio construction and asset allocation This experience has been eye-opening, and I’m excited to keep learning to become an expert in this field. Wrapped up an incredible elective module at INSEAD, a unique experience uniting students from TIMBA, EMFin, and all three campuses. With numerous electives available and a limit of four courses, I selected courses that build a strong foundation in both hard and soft skills. Key takeaways: Advanced Corporate Finance with massimo massa: Delved deep into the intricacies of corporate finance and understanding the critical role exit strategy plays in maximizing project value and mitigating risk. Storytelling & Decision Making with Marc Le Menestrel and Geneviève Flaven: Learned the art of crafting compelling narratives, recognizing the power of storytelling in influencing stakeholders and driving organizational change. Energy Transition Finance with @Pierre Hillion : Explored the complex dynamics of renewable energy projects, emphasizing the importance of subsidies, storage solutions, and grid integration. Real-world data from Germany and the UK revealed the challenges of energy transition - fluctuating prices and storage limitations. M&A Alliances and Corporate Strategy with Philipp Meyer-Doyle: Developed a comprehensive understanding of the M&A process, with a particular focus on the critical role of Post-Merger Integration (PMI) in realizing deal synergies. Having experienced PMI firsthand, I understand its impact on the synergies. 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗳𝗖! 🎉 On Tuesday 2 July, the first university thesis ever dedicated to SfC was discussed. Lucrezia Alice Puccini graduated from the Università di Pisa with a thesis on shareholder engagement, focusing on Shareholders for Change. We thank Lucrezia for her valuable work 🙏. Her thesis will be an important means of disseminating the knowledge and best practices of our network. This is the first university thesis on SfC activities, but it will not be the last. A second will follow soon at the Imperial College of London. It is an important milestone for SfC, proving that our commitment is a remarkable and concrete case study. 👉 As of today, the SfC network has 19 members representing more than €45 billion of assets under management.
