Thank you to BAI for publishing my article, "How to create a personal banker for everyone." I argue that while banks and credit unions are ramping up their spending on tools to support customer financial well-being, there is more to do. Encouraging a customer to engage in some point solution is a step in the right direction, but the reality is that it takes years of savvy decisions and discipline for someone to achieve their financial goals, such as home ownership. The article details an approach to create an omni-channel personal banker for all customers to guide them along their multi-year journey. The “punch line” is that technology advances now make it possible to provide a personal, albeit virtual, banker for all.
