In the bottom of this photo, you can see New York Fire Department Fire Engine Ladder Truck 118 crossing over the Brooklyn Bridge on their way to the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. This is their last known photo. Every single New York Fire Department Firefighter on that truck perished just an hour later. Three hundred and forty three Firefighters lost their lives that day, as well as 23 New York City Police Officers and 37 Port Authority Police Officers. We vowed to never forget. Unfortunately, so many have. NEVER FORGET. God Bless America! #ProudAmerican #ProudTexan #AmericaFirst #MAGA

I joined the Navy as soon as I graduated to go serve.

The most bizarre thing out of all the comments is to believe that terrorists have done this??!! Please wake up!! This was performed and orchestrated by our own government!! Right here in our own country!! We as Americans have to wake up!! Especially with the coming election! Please don’t be so nieve

After the coward act of 9-11 attacks, from foreign terrorists, Americans came together. Galvanized as one. Even though many lost their lives & many are STILL dying from this tragedy. (please donate - tunnel to towers) 💰 I long for the days of feeling the harmony with my fellow Americans. Hopefully after tonight’s debate & early voting starting, we can come together, lower interest rates, stop printing money, lower inflation, be able to afford food and gas. Pay our bills. Pay down our debt. Be able to heal. God bless America 🇺🇸

Firemen are the Best! The single picture that still stands out in my mind of that day .... the young Firemen climbing up the stairs as people were rushing down around him. I discovered later this Brave Firefighter was one of the #343 that died that day. My hubby spent 30 years on the Amarillo Fire Department. He was on duty 09/2001. So many raw memories of that day and after. We came together as a Strong America after that murderous time....we need that American Pride again

That was a very sad day— I will never forget. It was hard to accept what happened (to those on the planes and in the buildings) but then to hear over 300 firefighters died when the structures collapsed— made me feel sick.

How can anybody forget what happened on September 11, 2001. God Blessvall that gave their life on this date and all families affected by this terrible incident.

I know exactly where I was and what I was doing. We had family in the buildings who by the Grace of God or pure dumb luck were able to get out and go home. In that time, race, religion, politics all took a back seat and United we stood! We should all remember that!
