The person who carefully designs his routine goes further than those who negotiate with themselves every day. Reading 20-30 pages of a book everyday , listening to a podcast or informative video on your focus area, and even something as simple as brushing your teeth twice a day, can be challenging to follow. But trust me, these small habits can gradually elevate you to a whole new level over time! Consistency is key! By integrating carefully chosen habits into our daily routine, we can improve our knowledge & expand our expertise.

Do you hate the sound of your own voice? Here’s a fix for it. I absolutely hated my voice. It almost kept me from starting several podcasts including one that’s been played in 19+ different countries! But I was able to overcome it. When you hear your voice, you are hearing the sound coming into your ears but also a bassier tone traveling through the bones of your skull. As a result, when you hear your voice on a recording, you don’t hear the bassier notes and can be shocked by the higher tone of your voice. So here’s the fix. Listen to your recorded voice more often! By simply becoming more familiar with your recorded voice, you can grow to not hate it over time. So, don’t let the sound of your own voice stop you from doing the things you want! Do you hate your own voice?

You shouldn’t start something new just for the sake of doing so. Instead, if you’re going to devote the time and effort into starting something, there should be a strategy behind it. No shade intended, but how many people or businesses signed up for Mastodon, Threads or Bluesky - and then barely (or never) used those platforms? How many podcasts released a handful of episodes - and never recorded any more? It’s always fun to check out the shiny new thing, but if you expect results, you’ll need to identify: - Who is my audience? - Why am I using this specific tactic or platform to reach them? - What am I doing to create value for them? If you can define these things - if you have a reason to start something beyond just “everyone else is doing it” - you’re already ahead.
