Remembrance – Memorial Day Weekend Memorial Day - We honor and mourn those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and died while serving. If you have never been to the Tomb of the Unknown Solider at Arlington National Cemetery; I strongly encourage to go. It will make the hair on your arms stand up and get your attention as an American. You will hear the clicks of the Sentinels shoes in the video. In person, coupled with the commanded silence for respect, those clicks sound like bombs going off. The experience will make you realize battles in history are real and will naturally command your respect for all who have served as well as died in battle. The Sentinels at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider stand guard 24-7-365 regardless of weather. Their preciseness and attention to detail is astounding. Enjoy the long-weekend and never forget. Freedom is not free.
