So my preferred method is via the French press. You're getting all of the flavor of the coffee out of it during the extraction process. As you can see, we're using a little bit coarser grind of coffee because it is a full immersion process. To brew the French press properly, I like to use about two ounces in this size press pot. And the first thing we're going to do is we're going to wet the grounds and we're going to start the extraction process. Right now, it's releasing CO2 and the oils are being extracted out. And you get what we call the bloom, or the crust of the coffee. Let that sit for about 30 seconds. Once that coffee has begun to extract, we give it a stir. And then we finish our poor. And it's very important to remember that we never use boiling water. The hottest we want, our water is at 200��. Put your plunger on and we would let this sit for four minutes and then we would plunge. And pour ourselves a delicious cup of coffee.
