Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.Job Summary:Are you interested in helping to manage a strategic portfolio of programs within the Advanced Technology (AT) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) that develops next generation, high power microwave (HPM) systems? This role will provide program and technology leadership while supporting the execution of all phases of these exciting developments. These programs build upon the successful demonstration of several core technology components, integrating these technologies in systems to validate capability, and deliver an operational capability for the warfighter. This role is onsite in Tucson, AZ or Tewksbury, MA.Responsibilities to Anticipate: Supports the HPM Business Director for the overall success of the programs, company and customer success, on-time delivery, and for identifying and assisting in the development of new technical opportunities within the customer community.Partners with the government customer and stakeholders to develop the goals, strategy, and vision for these programs starting from initial concept development through contract award and execution. Plans for integration of this technology with core product lines.Supports development of the portfolio strategy to meet the full spectrum mission and supporting needs of the customer community and the company.Works with the individual program managers to manage cost and schedule performance of the existing and any subsequently awarded contracts or modifications and communicating program status and strategies to senior leadership. Develops and maintains collaborative and responsive internal relationships with peers across the AT SBU, R&C, and corresponding SBU functional leads such as Supply Chain, Contracts, and Finance.Clearly articulates customer positions, status, and strategies to senior management.Basic Qualifications:Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experienceLeadership experience within defense, government acquisition or similar industryExperience working within an Engineering D
