Adding more Office chapters to my memory book!! Starting from a time when I struggled to secure any part-time work, constantly questioning my decisions to move Canada to eventually landing not just one but two part-time positions, two Teaching Assistant roles, and an internship. Whenever you doubt the path you've chosen, avoid dwelling on the past. Instead, focus on the future and the opportunities it holds. Believe in yourself and diligently work towards your goals. When you have faith in your abilities, the universe conspires to make things happen. I'm thrilled to share that my persistent efforts have led me to secure an internship as Engineering COOP-Manufacturing at The Coca-Cola Company in #Peterborough. Embracing this new role brings fresh challenges that will undoubtedly contribute to my growth and resilience. Recently, attending my first daily operation review meeting brought a smile to my face as I recalled the content from the Operational Excellence - Lean Six Sigma course. Its not just an effect of an attractive content slide but an efficient professor Jean-Laurent Rousset. From reviewing my resume to boosting my morale during moments of doubt, preparing me for interview, giving ideas on how to make this internship work and finally welcoming me in North American Market, his support has been unwavering. He has become my mentor for life.(Manifesting working under your guidance someday!). Acknowledging that success is never achieved alone, I extend heartfelt thanks to Faculty Coordinator Jac van Beek FCMC, ICMCI Academic Fellow, Internship Coordinator Hanan Anis, and University of Ottawa Graduate staff for their instrumental roles in facilitating this valuable experience. Starting my career under the guidance of my first manager, Vijaykumar Desai, and now launching my Canadian career under the same name Vijay Kumar Khatri (P.Eng, MBA, BEng) at fairlife, LLC Plant, Peterborough, feels like a meaningful connection. I eagerly anticipate gaining valuable insights and making significant contributions to the company. #CareerGrowth #NewBeginnings #EngineeringInternship #LeanSixSigma #Gratitude #TheCocaColaCompany

After 13 years of experience in both public and private sector learning & development and career counseling, here are the insights I've gained Back when I first started my career, I noticed that most candidates focused only on their qualifications and technical skills. Fast forward a few months, they were performing below par and not reaching the desired goals. Years of experience taught me that while technical skills are an important base, an employee’s soft skills are just as important for his success in the workplace. Now, while we aren’t taught how to manage and nurture our soft skills in universities, There are training programs that could do the trick I wish this existed before, but the free McKinsey Forward Learning Program can help you improve your soft skills and get you ready for the workplace. It is FREE, online, self-paced, and designed for anyone who is looking to advance in their career (full-time work, part-time work, internships, apprenticeships, etc.). So, if you have graduated high school and have less than 5 years of total work experience, or more but with no managerial roles then I highly encourage you to apply👇🏻 https://lnkd.in/eqvJH9gH #TakeAStepForward

Seven years ago today, I kicked off my university journey (time flies!). Looking back, here’s my biggest takeaway 👇🏽 There’s way too much pressure to have your entire career mapped out from day one. Truth is, you don’t need to know exactly where your degree will take you, and that’s okay. I chose to study a broad degree in business and marketing because I knew it would give me room to explore different paths. My best advice? Do as many placements and internships as you can. They’re a great way to figure out what you love - and what you don’t. I spent every summer working at different companies, and each experience helped shape my direction. Fast forward to today… I now work in Product Marketing at OneAdvanced, and I genuinely love what I do. To anyone starting university this month… Embrace every moment, jump on every opportunity, and don’t stress if your path takes unexpected turns. You’ll land exactly where you’re meant to be! #selfreflection #university #careerjourney

If you offer mid-career-internships - Flaunt It! (and if you don't, you should be.) Every employer with an internship program for graduates or undergraduates should also have a professional internship track for the return-to-work pool. The benefits of offering mid-career internships' include: - access to people who are already highly qualified and extremely experienced that just took a career break or find the need to upskill themselves - improve diversity, equity and inclusion with already experienced individuals - send a positive signal to current employees that your organisation is willing to develop people at all the stages of their career - conversion rates from mid-career-intern to permanent employee are high #experientiallearning #experientialeducation #employability #internships https://lnkd.in/gVpY6AYd

If you suffer from tired marketing! Here is a post with a refreshing approach that recognises that ideas should come from anywhere in a business and thinking and ideation should be positively and proactively promoted. Harnessing new team members at any and in fact, every level in an organisation can generate some exciting avenues for innovation in marketing strategy. I wanted to share this not necessarily for the solution, but the approach to idea generation, I welcome the thoughts of my connections on this. And if you want to explore how Pierre G. achieves this with his apprentices and maximises their potential for innovation, ideation and creative thinking, while building a first-class sales and marketing workforce of the future then please give him a shout! #ideation #Marketing #innovativeMarketing #Apprentices
My apprentice is now exploring additional ways for our business to engage our target audience through social media. A valuable insight he discovered is that certain London Underground lines now offer mobile signal, meaning passengers will spend more time connected while traveling📱 This opens up new opportunities to engage with content. With proper coaching, a clear plan, strong leadership, and a Good training provider 😉, an apprentice can become productive in a relatively short time. #apprenticeship #marketing #hr

The degree in Management was created with a purpose of giving knowledge and experiential learning (thru internships) to youngsters who want to work in corporate sector and other sectors of economy. Also people who are keen to be entrepreneurs in future. Over the years in many parts of the world its so diluted that the focus is largely on getting good salary and thats the way the "ratings" are defined. Even companies glorify these degrees and are virtually competing to hire these graduates. The focus largely being on placements for MBA colleges - the real part of Business Management is getting lost somewhere - the talent which is made up of Knowledge, Skills and Attitude and behaviours are largely ignored. Thats the reason many instance the companies and also the graduates struggle when they actually enter the real world of Business. The "Management Education" also needs complete transformation (like the education for schools and colleges). Education is the greatest strength of any nation and society. #mbagraduate #talent #managementeducation #leadership #management #talentacquisition #collegeadmissions #education
