It is an honor to complete my training at McKinsey Academy. Through my time, I have gained a lot of experience in different aspects of Management. How to identify problems in different ways such as Issues Tree, Hypothetical tree, and point-view- tree? " Don't make your decision in a vacuum". How to imply decisions based on Petro's idea? How to utilize the MECE principles of gathering different aspects of ideas in conditions of No overlap and repetitive ideas in different management brunches? How to connect with your audience through Inclusive communication? What are the steps to ensure thoughts to Stakeholders via synthesis not summarize thoughts? How to structure ideas based on the Pyramid Principle? How to gain a tough bargaining negotiation?

I am pleased to share that I have completed the Core Skills level of the McKinsey Forward Program, provided by McKinsey & Company, earning a digital badge as a testament to this informative journey. This experience has been eye-opening, taught me crucial skills and insights that are essential in a dynamic environment. When we are developing training as part of digital transformation, what should we be focusing on? ·     Technical knowhow ·     Mindset change ·     Or both   Too often we see change and transformation training that is a one-size-fits-all. End users, whose ways of working are changing, get one chance to learn the new ways.   They are expected to take significant time away from their desks for training. There is no follow-up to check what they have absorbed, or if they can apply their new knowledge in their work.   People attending the training don’t know why they are there, what the course is about, or how it relates to their daily work and priorities.   Even when they are doing the training they may be distracted by demanding clients, contract negotiations, service delivery issues, and managers who resent them being away from their desks.   Valerie Merrill - FLPI and I are used to working around all these issues when delivering training for transformation programmes. How many of you feel they are filled up with much knowledge, however, it gets overwhelming when it comes to the application? The McKinsey Forward program certificate learning approach is completely different. It is an eye-opener to help oneself as a leader to firstly deep dive and search for the origin roots for better self-understanding and then start from there, moving upward to the art of applying magical techniques and models to solve issues and move people to actions. The APR model helped me to recognize triggers that push me to react undesirably and flip it over as desired. By following the McKinsey problem-solving approach, I succeeded in solving the city traffic problem (program assignment) when I had no prior experience regarding that kind of issue before.I usually tended to jump to conclusions in any communication, but with the help of the EPIC model, I became able to take business communication through four different steps that can influence people to move to action. You may feel a bit confused or fear to go through the program, no worries, I was more than you, but look at me now, here is my certificate and the badge, so you can do it too. And remember, only leaders are eager to learn and ready for the next step. #ITookAStepForward

I would like to announce that i have completed the "McKinsey Forward Program" and i have just recieved this awesome badge. This tailored online learning program by the renowned consultancy firm was a game-changer for me as a mechanical engineer. I think it complements my practical experiences by equipping me with some valuable tools and skills to become a stronger leader, a more effective communicator, and a structured problem-solver. This 6-months learning program does that by introducing some valuable concepts and skills to build upon and implement in your work place and with your colleagues ... perhaps even in your everyday life. In regards to "Leadership and Communication" skills, I was introduced to established frameworks to guide myself and my team through complex challenges. It makes me feel more confident in setting direction, fostering collaboration, and motivating others. The program also honed my ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively. I can now tailor my communication to different audiences and effectively champion solutions.
