In 2005 Mick joined Jetstar as part of our Engineering Apprentice Program, which he describes as ‘the best thing he’s ever done.’ Nearly 19 years on and Mick is now a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) Manager on the Gold Coast. “I can honestly say hard work is rewarded at Jetstar. Pardon the pun but the sky’s the limit! There is so much room for career progression and movement within the group. I made the move from Newcastle to Melbourne and now to the Gold Coast. The exposure to so many various aircraft types has always kept my time interesting,” Mick said.
