After a day spent out and about quoting, one of the questions I was asked most is 'how often should I have the stone treated'. There really is no cut and dry answer to this as it all depends on what you are aiming for. Perfection with stone is not achievable and it shouldn't be desired either. It's the imperfections that make it unique. There is however, value in regular professional maintenance. Part of the process of restoration is reapplication of sealant.
