A very insightful - and entertaining - piece from Rachel Coldicutt. The message is really important and what I take away is that we need to look differently at tech if it’s going to work - fairly - for everyone. Too often in the past couple of years, the fundamentals have been overlooked. ‘Good’ tech requires strong foundations including people, data and digital infrastructure. It might be more seductive to sit on the AI hype curve but it really won’t get us anywhere good - spending a lot of time and money, and harming people in the process. I really do believe in the power of data to transform people’s lives for the better (if I didn’t I wouldn’t have spent 12 years of my life working on it). So let’s make sure the things we build contribute - genuinely - to better lives (yes, economically as well as socially and environmentally) for everyone #data #AI #techforgood #datascience

Few dictators have the courage to openly declare their aversion to liberty. Despite the constant vilification of the notion of liberty, very few people actually like the idea of being directly controlled. Authoritarians use a trick to overcome this obstacle. They pretend to act in defense of society and the common good. They proclaim not to act for themselves but for the good of all. They say that we need to trade our freedom for a little more security. In the end, we end up with neither. We need to be alert to this type of strategy. Authoritarians will never stop trying to use it. Why leave them around. Why leave them free to fight and bring disaster on us another day. What are we afraid of? They are counting on us hesitating and waiting on someone else to act first or continue to believe this cant be happening until they release the next virus and declare Marshall law, digital currency and ID to remove your wealth, break you and make you submit. Until we realize where this is going and act accordingly, we are just cattle headed to the slaughter with our little tractor protest buying them more time. Im grateful for the protest but its like occupy Wall St or a campus Berkley protest about Putin. Results in nothing but a false sense of security!!! All actions short of arresting all traitors to our country, USA and mankind fall short of preventing their plans to wipe us out. NUREMBERG....NUREMBERG...NUREMBERG...this includes all of these brain dead Satanic news propagandist being paid to lie and blame people of truth for the complete Satanic darkness and death coming soon from our very own Democrat Deep/Rino Uniparty State Cartel, WEF, WHO, NWO, UN, EU leadership. Only we Americans have the true power, freedom, means and ability to stop this dead...like permanently dead...like even make some constitutional changes. Some items in our constitution need to be permanent...none votable...1st and 2nd...others. They reflect Gods natural laws and those don't change. Define man, women, marriage and family. Define American values and only allow Christians to teach, law enforcement, military, public office or own more than 35% of a corporation. Not take anything away, en contrar...make it more powerful and secure. Prevent the enemies of God and truth from gaining influence and power...kind of Gods will and intent in the biblicsl context and history.
