Both daycare and early childhood education centers provide safe environments for children while their parents work or attend school. However, what sets early childhood education apart is its focus on learning. High-quality early learning programs develop children’s confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills. They have proven lifetime benefits, from better school performance to higher wages in adulthood. That’s why quality early childhood education is one of JP’s core pillars.

2moAs a child who went to early learning and headstart programs as opposed to daycare back in the day, I can truly say I was well prepared for kindergarten and elementary school and always read ahead of my grade level. I do not say this as a brag but more to affirm and attest to the value and need for early childhood education programs instead of just daycare centers. I didn’t go to the best schools but with that head start I got the most out of my public school education because I had that head start and was able to get into good schools and programs middle school, high school and beyond. More people need access to these types of centers and we need more programs like Jeremiah Program.
