Net Zero Analyst at Furthr

Great to have contributed to this report addressing the public's role in the transition to net zero, particularly on the importance of demystifying net zero information in order to drive decarbonisation. The challenge of behavioural change will not be solved until making the green choice is the clearest and most accessible option for all.

Head of Sustainability for Infrastructure (UK&E)

An interesting evening this week as I attended the release of a new APPGI and ICE report which outlines how the UK government can help people decarbonise their day-to-day lives (including a significant contribution from the team at Mace). Great to hear Chancellor Jeremy Hunt not only emphasising the importance of infrastructure, but more importantly the importance of delivering it in a sustainable way. Clarity and Support are the two key messages that I take away from the report. The public needs to know what needs to be done and the government needs to support them in doing it, either of those items alone will not achieve the results needed. The report can be downloaded here: https://lnkd.in/eRCy7j_W Well done Flora Cherry, Alex Meek, Sara Ahmad, Bhavisha Amlani, and Jenni Brown for your valuable input to this report! #sustainableinfrastructure #greeninfrastructure #mace #infrastructureprojects #sustainability #climatecrisis #climateemergency
