Once again, Indigenous People will save us all! Not through us converting them to our flawed worldview dominated by capitalism, development, or universality, but rather by letting them pick up their rich heritages, and acknowledge how they have evolved through apocalyptic-level trials, and integrating them into major conversations about climate solutions. Furthermore, many communities will be able to help Western societies solve the issues of isolation, gun violence, and mental health issues because their views of the pluriversal and community design focus on emotional/ spiritual well-being in addition to economic growth, environmental conservation, and democratic ideals! Many cultures are diverse, modern, and helping Western society to answer major questions such as "where did we go wrong?" and "how are we going to get out this mess?"

Filipino American History Month (FAHM) was established to honor and celebrate the history, achievements, and contributions of Filipino Americans to the United States. On October 18, 1587, a group of Filipino sailors, known as "Luzones Indios," landed in Morro Bay, California, aboard a Spanish galleon; this event marks the earliest documented presence of Filipinos in the continental U.S.. October was chosen for FAHM to commemorate the arrival of these Filipino sailors in what is now the continental United States. You can celebrate Filipino American History Month by: 1. Joining lectures, panel discussions, or webinars focused on Filipino American history and contributions. 2. Exploring literature by Filipino American authors or books that delve into the Filipino American experience. 3. Supporting local Filipino restaurants, shops, and online businesses. 4. Looking for local festivals, parades, or cultural fairs that celebrate Filipino heritage. #FilipinoAmericanHistoryMonth #FAHM

May 21st, 2002 In response to the unilateral standardization of culture and commercialization by large capital cultures facing humanity worldwide.  It is an international anniversary established by the United Nations to ease conflicts and confrontations between peoples and capital on the premise of mutual respect through dialogue and compromise. In May, to mark World Day for Cultural Diversity Dialogue and Development, why don't we learn about  'The gaze of the Other  : Documentary heritage of the Salesian apostolic Vicariate in the Ecuadorian Amazon, 1890-1930 ' and discuss the meaning of this Memory of the World.

On May 3, the Minister of Culture Jakob Engel-Schmidt, along with other Nordic and Baltic Ministers of Culture, signed a joint declaration committing to closer cooperation to meet the increasing challenges facing the cultural sector. As the announcement states: "There is an urgent need to step up preparedness and contingency planning for the protection of cultural heritage and for maintaining cultural activities during crises, heightened states of alert, or war. That is the message from the Nordic and Baltic ministers for culture. In a joint declaration, they commit to closer collaboration to address the increasing challenges facing the cultural sector.” It will be interesting to see if this leads to increased political attention and resources for the protection of culture and cultural heritage in the event of a crisis in Denmark.
