Grief strikes us to the core. Our dear one, David Ray passed on today. His light abides and shines. A poet, author, educator and, activist, David had a heart for small acts of kindness as well as a thirst for justice. He is well loved. "Magic is inferred, meaning is available"... "it was all meant to be...poised at the brink of heaven." One of my favorite poems that he wrote is Sacred Feathers. Religion plays a part as well, as a majority of centenarians in the blue zones belong to a faith-based community. "People who go to church, temple or a mosque live somewhere between four and 14 years longer than people who have no religion," Dan Buettner told CNBC.
