A big "TAKK"/thank you to Nordic Growth Summit for all the very kind feedback on my innovation, creativity and storytelling keynote in Oslo. CREATIVE BRAVERY to cut through and break from your "train tracks of thought" was one of the key themes we explored. The new Joker: Folie a deux trailer is making massive impact with the exceptional rule breaking boldness of that franchise. When we first worked on Joker at WB, it stood proud and as everything almost every other superhero orientated franchise was not: destitution, bleakness, ugly aesthetics, and a highly controversial depiction of mental illness. Challenge yourself to asses the conventions and traditions of your thinking, those of your organisation, your industry and identify those you can bravely break to adapt your thought. It's how Amazon and Netflix did it by changing distribution habits, Apple on design & tech...Uber on hailing cabs.
