Let's put a rumor to rest about sales during Carnival time. I'll share my stats at the end. Fact: Customers are doing meetings. Deals are being closed. To say that no one is buying is false. Fake news. Sales Managers need to stop accepting this excuse. Sales reps need to show me the numbers versus their opinions. Not everyone celebrates the holidays. People that celebrate the holidays still take meetings and sign off on proposals. This week, Carnival week I have; 7 scheduled discovery calls. 3 closed deals. 🥳 1 lost deal 🥲 And I'm doing two sales training sessions. Business IS HAPPENING. Pick up the phone and call. Drop in and visit your customer. Move to the next stage of the sale process. Close a deal. P.S. Reps that bring this issue to me never have the numbers to back it up. Repost if you're still closing deals. Yellow Out 💛

Objection Handling Response: Client says call them back after Carnival. Acknowledge the Objection - Mr. Customer besides the obvious being Carnival, is there any other reasons for pushing the meeting to end of Feb?

Yes, there are some cases where the meetings aren't happening because persons are on vaca for the season but that's not all cases.

Fully agree

Absolutely spot on. If the pitch is of value the meetings continue despite the season. Keep preaching Jarrod Best-Mitchell

Carnival is an excuse for people to take a vacation on working hours 🙃

This may be an opportunity to get in contact with your 'ideal prospects' because the gate keepers are on vacation 😅

Jarrod Best-Mitchell, Oops! You just debunked the ready excuse. "Show me the numbers", is right. I would be the rep contacting the customer while the competitor used the "Carnival" excuse.

It’s the same for Easter Summer and Xmas time - I’m on holiday I’ve just made a business decision and paid to secure my place on a masterclass both were time sensitive - biz owners are making decisions 24/7

Last year I made my biggest sale during carnival week from someone who celebrates carnival. More than 60k API.
