Another great video from my colleague Alex Forrest, this time proving the speed of AutoStore™ technology in operation. 6 seconds per bin presentation, equals 600 bins/hour and if you can achieve multiple item picks per bin presentation, that is fast picking.

🚀 Rapid picking without even trying at XXL Sport & Villmark!! 🚀
To follow on from my Relay Port video yesterday, I wanted to add this bonus video to show the port in action on a live site doing a store replenishment.
As you can see the picker isn't having to work super hard to keep up with the port so this throughput is very manageable.
By my count on the vid, he picks 32 lines and 58 units in 3mins 10secs.
That works out at:
🚀 6s per line/bin presentation
🏎 3.3s per unit picked
As I said in the video yesterday, the Relay Port was our ticket to really fight in the high throughput part of the market!

🎨 Unleash Your Inner Picasso (No Ear-Chopping Required!) 🖌️
Myth-busting time: You don't need to be born with a paintbrush in hand to be creative. Phew! 😅
So, how do we mere mortals tap into our creative genius? Let's dive in!
🧠 Creativity Boot Camp:
Play "Idea Ping-Pong": Bounce ideas with a colleague. First one to run out of ideas buys coffee! ☕
Take a "Curiosity Walk": Notice 5 new things on your commute. That weird shaped cloud? Pure inspiration! ☁️
Embrace "Productive Procrastination": Sometimes your best ideas come when you're supposed to be doing something else. Don't tell your boss I said that! 🤫
🏛️ Creativity Hall of Fame: Business Edition
1. Henry Ford: Didn't invent the car, but made it so cheap everyone could buy one. Talk about thinking inside the box... on wheels! 🚗
2. Steve Jobs: Turned computers from boring beige boxes into colorful, must-have accessories. iMac or iCandy? 🍎
3. Anita Roddick (The Body Shop): Made ethical beauty products cool before it was trendy. Saving the planet, one body butter at a time! 🌍
4. Jeff Bezos: Started by selling books online, ended up selling everything but the kitchen sink. (Wait, no, they sell those too!) 📦
5. Walt Disney: Turned a cartoon mouse into a global empire. Now that's what I call a mighty mouse! 🐭
🚀 Launching Your Creativity on LinkedIn:
1. Zhuzh up that profile pic: You in a dinosaur costume? Professional AND memorable! 🦖
2. Craft a headline that pops: "Excel Wizard & Accidental Comedian" beats "Accountant" any day!
3. Post your "idea doodles": That napkin sketch could be the next big innovation!
4. Share your "creativity hacks": Your weird-but-effective brainstorming technique could go viral!
Remember, as the great Albert Einstein said: "Creativity is intelligence having fun."
I'd add: "And sometimes it's intelligence wearing a clown nose while juggling flaming spreadsheets." 🤡🔥📊
So, next time you're stuck, channel your inner 5-year-old. They're creative geniuses who aren't afraid to color outside the lines (or eat the crayons).
Now go forth and create! And if anyone gives you odd looks, just say you're "disrupting the paradigm." Works every time! 😉

💡 Rupert’s Top Tip - September 💡
Maximising Profit Margins in Used Car Stock Acquisition 🚗
Rupert’s top tip for dealerships this month is to make the most of your part-exchanges and ensure that you are purchasing additional used car stock based on the most profitable market vertical.
How?
Analyse Your Market Vertical: Determine which market brings you the best margin - whether it's through auctions, private vendor purchases or wholesale platforms.
Utilise Comprehensive Market Data: Don't rely on a single platform for insights. Look at the full spectrum of market data to inform smarter purchasing decisions.
By focusing on the right market vertical and leveraging broader insights, you can maximise profitability on every acquisition.
