Registration is now open for Summer and Fall 2024 classes; please contact your advisor to register. Upcoming for Fall 2024 is "Introduction to Intelligence and National Security" (NISS 5300). The Introduction class is required for the program and is a great way to begin the National Security Studies Program. This course introduces the students to security and intelligence studies' core concepts and theories. The course introduces the basic elements of intelligence: collection and analysis, counterintelligence, and covert action. It will include a brief history of the evolution of intelligence, an introduction to the intelligence cycle, and a discussion of intelligence failures.
