It baffles me that businesses that hire off-duty cops are so naive to believe that they are getting special powers, privileges, or protection by using them. It is illegal for a cop in Texas to use their position or authority for private gain. They are exempt from getting the security license but they are not exempt from criminal prosecution using tax dollars for private gain. The person who “direct-hired” the off-duty cop could also be criminally charged if found they too benefited from the use of tax dollars for their personal benefit. SOLUTION: Hire an experienced security professional like myself and others and avoid all the problems that come with hiring off-duty cops.

Technical proficiency and ability to execute are high on the list for hiring third party consultants. 2. A wide range of industry experience will bring about mental alternatives to provide effective solutions. 3. Focusing on business processes will get you much further than stopping at solving static problems. 4. Security compliance is not always an indicator of appropriate security controls for a given organization. 5. Law firms and their clients share the same threat actors and threat vectors, with law firms being a centralized data store for confidential information associated with many clients. Does anyone know of any lawyers who can help with hacking cases? I am having saved contacts magically fall out of my phone, documents & information in my Google drive change or disappear repeatedly, and my LinkedIn network is changing rapidly. There are large amounts of changes every few weeks that are unannounced & happening all at once. Today, I went to apply to a position with Sustainable Talent. It is a local staffing company I have worked with before. I have had two phone conversations with the same recruiter, who submitted me to a recruiter position & called me back to submit me for the second position. I had her saved in my phone as a contact to keep checking in with every few months as they continue to post roles. I am connected with her & the company's CEO on LinkedIn & have spoken with both through messaging on that platform. As of today, after checking in on a new role that the company posted publicly, any information is removed. All of these interactions are gone. No LinkedIn connections, no info in Google drive from either conversation, nothing in my inbox from the two roles I was submitted to. This is not the first time this has happened. This is how I am finding work to support myself. I am a recruiter by trade & building these relationships is part of my career & work product. How does this repeatedly happen? This is becoming a monthly or more occurrence for me & is repeatedly happening across my devices. If you know of someone who can help me with getting legal action so I can find work legally & be treated with the bare legal minimum. I want to figure out how this can repeatedly happen for months & want to bring whoever is doing this to court. Please tell me if you know anyone I can contact for help. This is an urgent & occurring problem that is cutting off my access to personal information, work product, and finding work. I have been reporting these instances on LinkedIn since last April & have never heard back. I have reported these instances across platforms & have gotten no support or help everywhere I've gone. I've already researched local legal companies & contacted quite a few in the past year. I have not been able to work with any or even gotten a response. I have been out of work for a year now & I can't take this anymore. Please can someone help me? I am being harmed & have already tried first line escalations for months & I'm drowning in this awful behavior. I have contacted anyone in industry I can think of, asked for referrals before, & asked for help on any official communication line I can find for over a year. I don't want to do it anymore. I just want to be able to find work & not have every person I've ever met in my life weaponized against me every day. I want to help companies do this better & would never support this behavior in any capacity. I have tried every option I have access to multiple times & I need help. I need the abuse to stop.
