Asking the right questions after an interview can seal the deal on you being the right candidate for the role. Avoid asking nitty gritty questions about when you're going to hear back from the hiring manager, or the in's and out's of benefits. Try asking more high-level questions like insights on the company culture, or what sort of qualities they've seen in their top performers that you can echo. Asking questions that only they can answer, not something you can find with a quick google search is going to help you stand out and gain insight for the next interview. What other questions would you ask? #recruiter #recruiting #jobseeker #interviewtips

I love when candidates ask great questions during an interview! Not only does it show they're thinking about themselves in the role, but it also helps me visualise them in the position and how they can have an impact immediately. Recently, a candidate asked me, "What is the one thing I could take off your plate today that would help you?" This question really got to the heart of why I was hiring for this position. Sometimes a different question or perspective helps you get to the nitty-gritty of what is really impactful or top of mind for that day. It wasn't a strategic question, but it was incredibly impactful. What are some questions you ask during an interview to get to the heart of the matter? #InterviewTips #JobSeekers #Recruiting

Should you reach out to the recruiter after your interview? Yes and no: You can’t go wrong with a “thank you note.” However, it will likely not affect the outcome, so don’t stress it. If you want to, then: ✅ Feel free to reach out to your interviewers ✅ Thank them for their time ✅ Build rapport; if the interview got you really close to landing the job, it might help It’s a no if: ❌ You rush their decision knowing you’d agreed to reconnect next week ❌ You probe a little too much about how to prepare for the next round ❌ You ask questions the recruiter has no control over Bonus: 👻Never feel bad for asking for feedback when you’re being ghosted. You invested time in this interview process and would deserve an answer. There’s some big lack of decency if you don’t hear back from someone you’ve talked to. #Recruiting #Recruitment #TalentAcquisition #TA #Interview

Staying on the Hiring Managers radar after interviewing for your dream job💭 You've just had an interview. What's next? How you stay on the hiring manager's radar can be just as pivotal as the interview itself. Here's a success story from one of my candidates that might just be your game-changer. 🚀 The candidate nailed the interview, but it was their post-interview strategy that sealed the deal. With follow-up emails expressing gratitude and reiterating their interest, they kept the conversation alive. Regular, yet respectful check-ins showcased their enthusiasm and dedication without crossing into pestering territory. What made the difference? It's all about balancing pertinence and persistence. Verifying next steps, providing additional information, or even sharing an article relevant to the discussed topics can tip the scales in your favour. This candidate did exactly that, and it worked! So, don't go silent after an interview. Keep the lines open, show your value, and be the candidate that's hard to forget. It's these small differences that can make a big impact. 📈 #InterviewTips #CareerGrowth #StayRelevant
