🌟 A Moment of Reflection 🌟 Last week, I struck up a conversation during an outing about what I do for work. I shared my role as the Marketing Communications Coordinator at Safe House Project and the impact our organization has in the fight against trafficking. Then came a question that made me pause: "Do you still feel fulfilled in your job, even though you don’t work directly with the survivors you serve?" It gave me a moment to reflect. The answer? Absolutely, yes. While I may not work directly with survivors most of the time, the work I do still impacts them in profound ways. Whether it’s: 👉 Promoting training that helps a doctor identify a survivor and help get them safely away from their trafficker, 👉 Designing a poster that catches a survivor’s eye in a bathroom stall, leading them to safety, or 👉 Building rapport with organizations so I can provide resources to someone in need. Every piece of marketing collateral, every campaign, every connection – it all ties back to our mission of bringing freedom and hope to survivors of trafficking. To me, fulfillment comes from knowing that the work I do helps amplify the reach and effectiveness of our mission. It equips others with the tools and education to make a difference. And that ripple effect can save lives. So, to anyone in a role that feels “behind the scenes” – remember this: Your work matters. The impact you have may not always be direct, but it is still immeasurable. #MarketingForGood #SafeHouseProject #HumanTraffickingAwareness #PurposeDrivenWork

I’m not a mean parent, uncle, or grandparent. But the grandparents who are now asking for a GoFundMe fund also knew what was happening during this baby’s last several months of life, they witnessed many signs of abuse. This is so sad, a GoFundMe sponsored by the grandparents does not help the baby. The mother also knew. Americans are slowly starting to realize that bad parenting is the biggest factor in violence, and that these parents are now starting to be held responsible for their children’s actions. We are starting to see this in school shootings and other tragic events involving teenage kids and older. We’ve been dealing with this “phenomena” for 25 years now, since Columbine. Bottom line, however, is how our legal system has been dealing with these issues, and how policy up till now has not been effective whatsoever in dealing with these issues and spending money on after-effects rather than root cause. Parenting is the root cause.

We Djirra- Sharing stories, finding solutions are DEVASTATED and HEARTBROKEN by data from the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing that 66 children have died in Victoria in state care over the last four years. There are NO WORDS strong enough to describe our horror in learning that in the last year alone 20 children have died in state care, with 6 of those deaths occurring between 1 July and 30 September. The majority of children that died were under 2 years of age. - Victoria’s so-called child ‘protection’ system is UNSAFE. - We must stop building and investing in UNSAFE SYSTEMS. - The so-called child ‘protection’ system MUST GO. Our system is overstretched because the most vulnerable and marginalised are targeted by it. Family violence is one of the biggest drivers to our kids being caught up in the UNSAFE SYSTEM – it’s time to INVEST in Djirra’s specialist services that work with Mums experiencing violence to stay safe and together with their children. We MUST keep our children out of these unsafe and punitive systems. Our children’s lives matter to us and they MUST matter to government.

We are excited to announce the launch of our "Strength in Numbers" campaign, a vital initiative aimed at enhancing our fight against human trafficking. Our goal is to secure 524 new members of the Team 1591 community before the end of Summer 2024. This would allow us to hire another dedicated analyst and would result in another 250 victims being identified per year at a minimum. Why Your Support Matters Human trafficking is a complex, organized crime that devastates lives and communities. By joining the Team 1591 community, you will provide us with the recurring funding needed to: 1. Identify Patterns: Analyzing data to uncover trafficking patterns where our law enforcement partners are standing ready to take action. 2. Support Law Enforcement: Providing valuable information online to law enforcement partners for their targeted operations. 3. Protect Victims: Enhancing law enforcement’s ability to locate victims and offer them a path to freedom. The Power of Monthly Donations Your regular contributions will enable us to plan effectively, allocate resources wisely, and sustain our mission over time. Just $15.91 a month can have a profound impact, as small amounts add up to significant support. Real Stories, Real Impact Meet Charlotte, a survivor who was recovered thanks to the diligent work of Guardian Group’s internal Analysis Team. An analyst recognized indicators of trafficking in an escort ad listing Charlotte for sale, they then worked to determine her true identity. This information was shared with local law enforcement and led to a successful law enforcement operation, saving Charlotte, and others from a life of exploitation. Charlotte is now thriving and rebuilding her life. How You Can Help: 1. Join Team 1591: Your monthly donation contributes to a collective effort that can bring about significant change. 2. Spread the Word: Share our campaign with friends, family, and colleagues. The more people who join, the faster we can achieve our goal. Donate Now: https://bit.ly/4bcfOqT By joining the Team 1591 community, you are making a lasting commitment to ending human trafficking. Together, we can make a significant difference. #Nonprofit #StrengthInNumbers #GuardianGroup

We have started tracking in January of 2024. The amount of cases recorded in such a short period is mind boggling. The judge will decide on May 13th as to whether or not the case referenced below will go to trial. End Witch Hunts #legal #trial #court
Our nonprofit End Witch Hunts is now tracking criminal cases of Spiritual and Ritual Abuse (SARA) in the United States. When a child is killed by a trusted adult, it's murder, regardless of beliefs about demonic possession. The US justice system must see it as such, even with claims of “supernatural” motives. Protecting children's lives means holding guardians accountable. We will remember you Arely Naomi Proctor, an embodiment of innocence, whose life should have been nurtured in safety and security. https://lnkd.in/g8jgNN3s
