Deputy Head of Delegation 🇭🇺 & WPIEI-CC Co-Chair under the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union 🇪🇺

According to the Minister of Defence of 🇭🇺, the construction of a state-financed defense industrial complex with the largest international military companies started from scratch. In recent years, production bases have been established as part of greenfield investment: in Zalaegerszeg together with Rheinmetall, Lynx armored infantry fighting vehicles are manufactured, Airbus established a factory in Gyula for the production of helicopter parts, and an ammunition factory was established in Kiskunfélegyháza. Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky 🇭🇺emphasized: these production capacities are scaled to a level that exceeds the needs of the Hungarian Armed Forces, so it is important that they also reach the export markets. He added: Hungary must rebuild its ability to sell domestically produced military products on the international markets, because without this the defense industry development would practically be "one-legged". In his opinion, this will be a construction process of several years, but he emphasized that it is necessary to get to the point where the products of the companies grouped in the Hungarian Defense Export Agency, as well as the products of the partially state-owned military industry companies, reach foreign markets. 🇭🇺🔝

The CZ BREN business is/went busted. Production hardware was incompatible with CZ softwares. Weapons fell apart in shooting range. Weapons made in Kiskunfélgyháza Plant are withdrawn from military/police service.

Totally correct analysis, however the approach of international markets can only be successful if done the right way and expert advice is taken seriously...
