The early days were filled with grit, long hours, and a relentless pursuit of our vision. But here's something I’ve learned throughout my journey so far as an Asset Integrity Director **real progress for the business often comes from doing the things we don’t want to do, but we know we NEED to do.** Jesse Itzler said it well:   "All of the highly successful people I’ve met in business and life do things they DON'T wanna do… ANYWAY." Looking back, it’s the tough calls, the long hours, and the challenges I didn’t look forward to that truly *moved the needle* and delivered the breakthroughs we needed. Whether it’s changing processes that have become outdated or don't meet current International standards, or making difficult operational decisions in the field, it's these moments that separate good performance from great outcomes. These decisions may not please everyone or sometimes anyone, but doing the right thing is always the right thing even against a headwind.
