💡5 low-cost, high-impact employer branding ideas by Kristy Threlkeld 👉👉👉 In a nutshell Key Points: ❗️Employer branding doesn’t have to break the bank. Think strategically about where to allocate resources. Utilize free or low-cost platforms like social media and employee-generated content to showcase your company culture. ❗️Focus on human and culture-focused stories. Encourage employees to share their experiences through videos, blogs, or social media posts. Highlight moments that demonstrate your company values and work culture, fostering a genuine connection with potential candidates. ❗️Empower employees to share authentic content. Provide guidelines and support for employees to create and share content about their work experiences. Encourage them to share insights, projects, and achievements, showcasing the real-life impact of working at your company. ❗️Stay competitive by drawing inspiration from big brands. Analyze successful employer branding campaigns from industry leaders and adapt their strategies to fit your company’s unique culture and values. Use competitor data to understand what resonates with your target talent pool and tailor your messaging accordingly. ❗️Educate and empower your recruiting team. Offer training sessions to equip recruiters with the knowledge and tools to effectively communicate your employer brand. Show them how sharing employer brand content can enhance their outreach efforts and attract quality candidates. 🥡 Key Takeaway: Investing in your employer brand isn’t just about attracting talent today; it’s about setting yourself up for long-term success in attracting top talent. #EmployerBrand #TalentAttraction #HRInsights Indeed for Business

Tailored Personal Branding for CEOs, Founders & Consultants on LinkedIn | Managing Partner & Co-Founder of Hume Agency
Employer Branding as a Service - what the heck is that? Glad I asked. :) It’s strategic employer branding made possible for smaller companies. You know – the ones that don’t have a dedicated employer branding team internally. In most companies, EB is a collaboration job between Marketing and P&C. But the thing is, you don’t really have much more time to give. Your plate is full - especially if you’re sitting in a startup or scaleup. Therefore, we designed the help you need. We’re the playmaker that enables you to focus on your core area of responsibility while your company’s employer brand strategically is being built. To get practical, you need to show up one time a month. Yup, one. Use that intelligent brain of yours one time a month to set the strategic scope and be presented with the data and feedback from last month’s content. All the work that normally gets lost between two chairs? Like consistent content, data tracking, and everything in between. We take care of that. I haven’t been doing much promotion for our services at Hume. But this is new. This is different. As it can help a lot of people with 128 different hats on, I just wanted to mention it. That’s it. Employer Branding done differently. Check it out at humeagency(dot)com🤟

Why should your company do employer branding? 🤷 Well, it's simple. Why does your company do branding? 🔎 To make yourself known to your customers. But 'corporate - product' branding can only take you so far when you're looking to attract talented experts to your team to build those great products and services. These highly sought after talents want to know what it's like to work at your company, what will they be doing, what mission are they contributing to. Essentially, what is the value for them ⭐️ A good employer branding strategy can help you attract better talent, cut down on hiring costs, and improve employee retention. 💡 When you have a clear direction of where you want to go, build a strong foundation, and have the support systems in place, your employees will naturally champion your cause. Step into the world of Employer Branding with our third series of the EVP Design Process. After analyzing your internal identity, EVP and those of your competitors, it's time to involve the key players and align all input with the company's strategy. Before diving in, recognize that not everyone may be as familiar with employer branding as you've become (through these how-to series 😉). So, ensure that everyone knows what an EVP is and why it's crucial for your organization. Next up, it's time to sit down with management and find out why they work here, what their jobs are like, and what success means to them. Then, discuss the strategy and company direction for the upcoming years. Next, you’ll share the information gathered from the other internal workshops, even the not-so-great bits, there's always something to learn. This way, we can identify similarities, ensuring that all layers of the company are represented in the new EVP. Finally, reveal your findings from competitor benchmarking and industry analysis to pinpoint the unique position your organization can claim. With all this information, you’re almost ready to design your new EVP concept. Designing your EVP concept is the next step; it’s where the magic happens—where creativity meets skill and vision. Stay tuned as we provide you with the necessary tools to start creating magic next week! If the step described above seems daunting, don't hesitate to reach out to one of our employer branding experts, Donja van Laarhoven or Micky Dendias.

Employer Branding: Bridging Promise with Perception Employer branding is a strategic endeavor aimed at crafting a compelling promise that resonates with target audiences (candidates) and effectively communicates the strengths of an employer. This promise serves as the cornerstone of employer branding, encapsulating the essence of what makes the organization an appealing place to work. It must not only be attractive but also authentic, reflecting the company's culture and values. Central to this promise is the concept of employer positioning, wherein the organization differentiates itself from competitors in the labor market. By identifying and accentuating unique strengths and attributes, employers can carve out a distinct identity that sets them apart. This differentiation is crucial in attracting top talent and fostering a sense of belonging among employees. From a marketing standpoint, employer branding involves developing strategies to crafting a brand identity. Leveraging marketing funnels and brand approaches, employers can effectively communicate their promise to potential candidates, enticing them to join the organization. However, from perspective of psychology and organizational behavior, they adds another layer of depth to employer branding. Understanding the motivations and preferences of individuals within the organizational context is paramount. A strong grasp of psychological principles enables HR professionals to tailor employer branding initiatives to resonate with diverse audiences. But we should focus on a specific audience at the first. In essence, employer branding merges elements of marketing and psychology to create a cohesive strategy that aligns organizational values with external perceptions. By developing an authentic promise and strategically positioning themselves in the labor market, employers can attract, engage, and retain top talent, driving organizational success.
