I’ve worked with quite a few marketing leaders who were new to healthcare and hospitals. Here’s what’s surprised them most about this space…
The buying process involves more roles than expected
The need to document how your hospitals & health systems buy
Hospitals buy more slowly than expected
The buying process is multi-dimensional and multi-factorial
The answer? Listening…listening to meet your hospitals and health systems where they are.

In the world of #healthcare, where every interaction holds the weight of someone's well-being, every #emotion plays a vital role in getting the desired outcome.
As medical professionals and marketers, it's our duty not just to provide services, but to create an experience that leaves a positive, lasting impact on our patients and their families.
At Hospital Success, we strive every day to not only meet but exceed the expectations of those we serve.
Whether it's through our patient-centered marketing approach, health provider's reputation management, we are dedicated to making every patient feel heard, cared for, and respected.
Let's remember, in healthcare, the most powerful marketing doesn't come from what we say or do, but from the compassion and empathy we infuse into every interaction.
How are you making your patients or target audience feel today?

"As healthcare providers, you are the guardians of health and wellbeing. Let us help you spread your message of care and compassion to those who need it the most."
“For example, our agency specializes in healthcare. Take any condition, treatment, or disease in the healthcare ecosystem and ask two doctors about their experience working with it. You will find commonalities, but there will also be differences, because their individual perspectives are simply that--individual.”
That’s why it’s so important to get yourself on camera, and speak organically to your past and UNIQUE experiences, therefore attracting attention to your growing personal brand.

Back to back posts this week but this was too good NOT to share! This is what happens when you let your fearless leaders go on a road trip to speak at the Illinois Healthcare Association Annual Conference. Lesson learned that road trips + social media = hilarity ensues! #ihca#pathwayhealth#healthcare#roadtrips
Want to see a good example GP Practice Facebook page on our Social Media Managed Service? Check out Bay Medical Group!:

They only started on their social media journey a few years ago and have now amassed more than 5,700 patient followers! This is the most followers I have ever seen.
How did they do this, I hear you ask? Regular posting of quality content, including local messages about their services, community, people, and creative ideas such as the Elf on the Shelf campaigns each winter to promote winter pressures messages. Also regularly engaging their patients in comments, using insight data to see what does and doesn't work, and still actively learning about Patient Comms!
Cath, their IT lead who leads on social media, has just been on a Patient Comms Strategy webinar today even though she is already a wiz, and attends pretty much all of the other webinars we run. She is a Guru.
Well done to BMG for leading the way. Hopefully this will inspire others as to what is possible on social media when communicating with patients.
