Customer support is increasingly powered by technology. With the disruption and innovation AI brings to customer service, we’re starting to see a major misalignment in how customer service technology buyers want to pay for their tech stack and the options they have right now. So, how do CX tech buyers want to pay for that? We surveyed over 200 CX leaders to dig into the specifics. We found that 93.5% of customer service tech buyers are currently billed through a seat-based model, but 66% of buyers prefer a usage-based pricing model.
