Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s office unveiled a “reinvigorated” national counterterrorism policy. This strategy pledges a mix of “kinetic efforts,” new legislation to support terrorism prosecutions, and measures to combat violent extremism. On Tuesday, Sharif clarified that the plan, still in its early stages, will prioritize stepping up current intelligence-based operations over initiating military incursions. This significant move aims to address the rising threat of terrorism in #Pakistan, where assaults increased by two-thirds between 2022 and 2023. Pakistan has engaged in cross-border operations in #Afghanistan, pressured the #AfghanTaliban to curb anti-Pakistan militant activities, and held discussions with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), the country’s biggest threat. USA left Afghanistan in such a mess that can’t see and follow the events over there, forgets that USA fought against Turks and Turkey sponsored jihadis in Afghanistan, and in Syria, including Afghanis fought under Turkish military supervision. Pan-Turkism connections with Central Asian Turkics from Uzbeks to Uyghurs, whom also trained inside Turkey in USA sponsored “Train+Equip” camps whom mostly joined ISIS and Al Nusra after graduation? Is that possible that USA intelligence agencies and NATO intelligence agencies doesn’t know how deep and wide Turkey involved? ISIS-K attacked Roman Catholic Church in Istanbul, like past attacks of ISIS in Turkey, never against Turks? but Kurds and Christian minorities? That’s the game Pan-Turkism and Turco-Islam wants us to see, but in reality it’s the cover up ops to hide Turkey’s sponsorship playing victim? I won’t be surprised if Russia points at Turkey in recent attack, if it’s more important than Russia-Turkey alliance started in anti-Kurdish politics, later signed S-400, and clearing Russian dirty money through Turkish financial system, not just exposed yet as much as Turkey’s involvement with Iran as in the case of #RezaZarrab and #Halkbank As it said “wait and see” 😊

𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐊𝐡𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐤𝐡𝐰𝐚 🔺Throughout the year, a total of 𝟐,𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 were carried out in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa against terrorists and extortionists. 🔺These efforts resulted in the 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝟕𝟐𝟔 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬, with 𝟐𝟓𝟓 𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 during the operations. 🔺The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) reported that 184 police personnel lost their lives, and 408 were injured in terrorism-related incidents. 🔺Over the course of the year, 𝟏,𝟎𝟗𝟑 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 and extortion faced legal action, with 810 successfully traced. Bails of 93 accused individuals implicated in extortion and terrorism were cancelt, including 38 from Peshawar, 18 from Mardan, 10 from DI Khan, 7 from Kohat, 9 from Mohmand, and other districts.
