🌐 How to unlock Energy Transition growth despite low Willingness to Pay?   Part of Bain's The Visionary CEO’s Guide to Sustainability is a focus on energy. The energy transition would generate at least $55 billion in new earnings each year if the world approached the annual investment level required for net zero.💰   However, navigating the pathways to these investments can be challenging. Many companies find it daunting to unlock the trillions in capital necessary for impactful low-carbon projects, most crucially due to customer's low willingness to pay, ahead of all other reasons like supply chain constraints or adverse government policy.   Leading companies are leveraging a mix of policy advocacy, commercial capabilities, creative financing, and stringent cost discipline to make the math work for their low-carbon investments. 🚀 Still, many others are deterred from low carbon investments by the prospective low return on investment.   What do you think? Under the slogan ‘Walk Our Talk’, Mission Sustainable is moving steadily towards sustainable operational management; sharing best practices with each other and the world. Key themes this year include travel choices, and making Ministry Buildings - such as Embassies - more sustainable.

Today we celebrate #EarthDay, a global initiative with a mission to diversify, educate and activate the environmental movement worldwide. I think we can all agree that, as a society, we need to do more when it comes to tackling climate change.
