This insightful session highlighted various materials and programs available to support the adoption and implementation of the ISSB Standards. 📊 International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are globally recognized accounting standards that enable companies to present consistent and reliable financial information. By adhering to IFRS, organizations can foster trust and facilitate informed decision-making among investors, creditors, regulators, and other stakeholders. 🔍 Key takeaways from the webinar: 1️⃣ First Advice: Read the Standards! 2️⃣ Support Resources: Application Guidance: Available on the IFRS website, providing illustrative examples and guidance. Educational Material: Extensive resources to aid understanding and implementation. Transition Implementation Group for IFRS S1 & S2: A public forum for stakeholders to discuss implementation questions, with meetings summarized and recorded on ifrs.org. The next meeting is scheduled for September 19-20, 2024. 👥 Capacity Building Initiatives: Collaboration with partners to deliver training, workshops, and some global sessions that are free of charge.
