What does gratitude look like? Well this video expresses it very well. We also discuss this liberally in our just published first book. 🌕 It is the ability to understand the abundance around One instead of focusing on what One does not 'yet' have. 🌕 If One chooses to focus on the lack then that lack mindset will weave itself into One's broader reality creating barriers to receive. 🌕 If One chooses to focus on the abundance then that will put energy into that path and more will be reaped from it. 🌕 Of course this is easy to say as there are varying degrees of One's comfort levels in life. 🌕 We always look back to when we arrived in Canada poor and living in social housing from 1973-77. 🌕 From this baseline we can affirm where we have been, what we have done to change that and the abundance we now rightfully enjoy and never take for granted. 🌕 We can then also share this inner abundance (that was always there) with others in need to outwardly seed into Life (3) Love (6) and alleviate their suffering with Light (9). 🌕 This young boy's empathetic nature shows the path that all need to 'choose' to take. If not taken then One will choose to suffer. As I embark on this new week, I find myself enveloped in a sense of gratitude, cherishing the treasures that enrich my life. Here are five things I am grateful for: Family Bonds: The cornerstone of my existence, my family embodies love, support, and unwavering solidarity. Their presence is a constant reminder of life's most precious gift. True Friendship: In the mosaic of relationships, true friends stand as beacons of authenticity. As Leke Alder beautifully articulated over the weekend, there are friends whom we share smiles with in public, and there are the real friends. I am grateful for genuine companionship and real friends Vitality and Health: The sanctuary of good health is a sanctuary I've been fortunate to inhabit. Never have I spent a night confined to a hospital bed, a testament to the blessings of vitality bestowed upon me by the Emperor of the Universe. Committed Teammates: At Primeah Pharmacy, I am blessed with a team whose dedication and camaraderie amplify our collective vision. As the Yoruba proverb wisely puts it, our endeavors flourishes only through shared effort. I am immensely grateful for my exceptional support network. The Gift of Intellect: Lastly, I am grateful for the a sound mind. Wednesday Warning ⚠ Watch out for the trap of comparison.   We look around us, measuring our successes and failures against those of our colleagues, friends, and even strangers on social media.   In doing so, we allow comparison to steal our joy.   In the workplace, this can be a feeling of inadequacy when a coworker receives praise or achieves a milestone we haven’t reached yet. We may begin to doubt our own abilities or question our worth.   Similarly, in our personal lives, we might find ourselves envious of someone else’s seemingly perfect relationship, family, or lifestyle.   But here’s the truth: #Comparison is a device of the enemy.   When we constantly measure ourselves against others, we overlook the unique gifts, talents, and blessings that God has given us. We fail to appreciate the journey He has laid out for us, with its own set of challenges and wins.   God doesn't judge us based on the same criteria that the world does. He doesn’t compare our performance to that of others, nor does He withhold His #love and #affection when we fall short.   Instead, He looks upon us with #compassion and #grace.   So, stop comparing. And start finding true #joy in being exactly who God created you to be.   “Each one should test their own actions.
