Contract Profit Reporting System (CPRS) The United States Air Force uses CPRS, also known as Weighted Guidelines (WGL), as an application that provided over 3,000 users with an automated method to analyze and report data on contract profit and fees. Warfighter Benefits include: ☁️ Primary decision support tool used by the contracting community to comply with form DD 1547 Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARS) profit objective requirements. ☁️ CPRS fulfills the United States Department of Defense requirement to report profit and fee statistics for all designated activities. CPRS was interested in the available Cloud One tools including automated scans, configuration management, and automated testing, with the overall objective of moving into a development and testing environment. During the past weeks we're realised that there are many open questions in regards of the SERMI Scheme. This is why we want to use our experience as an inspection body, operating in different EU countries (as of now the Netherlands, Belgium & Germany) to answer some of them: 1. What is SERMI? – The use of the SERMI scheme is mandated by the Delegated Regulation (EU) N° 2021/124 amending Regulation (EU) N° 2018/858, which provides that standardised access to security-related RMI. – This means, that every company who works on a vehicles security/theft-related information needs a SERMI certificate, in the case of NL, BE & DE this certificate goes into effect on the first of April. Other countries in the EU already started the implementation process, and some are yet to come in the future. 2. Where can a company get SERMI? – A company can apply with an inspection body that is accredited for their country and start the certification process. For the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, we would obviously prefer if you would decide to work with us, but at the end of the day, it's your decision 😉 – A list of CABS and the countries, in which they are operating can be found here: https://lnkd.in/eHec77ei 3. How long does the process take? – That we can only answer for us, not for other CABs, but if you start the certification process with us, it usually takes max. 5 working days from the moment we've received all relevant documents from you. A new step for Archer

I am delighted that PC Maritime have secured type approval by DNV for the latest standards to apply to ECDIS. Navmaster ECDIS now conforms to IEC 62288:2021 Edt 3 which is mandatory for new ECDIS installations on European-flagged vessels. Part of IMO’s e-Navigation strategy is to enhance navigation safety through better data management on ships and on shore. IEC 62288:2021 Edt 3 sets standards for the presentation of navigation information across bridge equipment. It also expands the presentation of data that can be transmitted via AIS to include safety messages and virtual/synthetic aids to navigation (AIS messages that are only visible on ECDIS or other AIS enabled displays, and do not represent physical objects). AIS synthetic messages can be used, for example, to broadcast protected marine areas to enhance environmental protection which is sure to become increasingly important as the technology is more widely adopted. #navigation #navigationdata #AIS #DNV #typeapproval #safetyatsea #maritime #ecdis #enavigation
