Last week I provided some analysis on the evolving #Web3 regulatory landscape across the pond in the US, which was picked up by top outlets such as CoinMarketCap. My viewpoint & TL;DR is this: If the SEC's goal is to create a framework that safeguards investors while promoting responsible growth within the crypto space, this can be achieved through consultation with industry stakeholders who want the space to evolve with the principles of transparency and security & Decentralization . Safeguarding is an important part of an EMIs business, and the introduction of safeguarding for Crypto Asset Service Providers in the EU through the upcoming MiCA Regulations is positive both in terms of providing a solid regulatory framework for the crypto industry, and in protecting consumers assets that they hold with CASPs, whether in fiat currency or in crypto.
