Words of wisdom to fuel your day!
I love this. I think of this like learning to ride a bike. We almost all learn to ride a bike, but motivation gets us doing jumps, and attitude gets us better at it. Because, every bike rider will eventually have a crash.

2moI disagree with so much of this. Talent is a latent benefit that helps you pick up a task; dedication, with a side of curiousity and passion, is the real driving force to learn new talents. Attitude determines motivation, not proficiency; if you take the salmon with the most positive attitude and ask it to climb a tree, it will still fail. Attitude looks good for the customer but ability cashes the check. Practice makes permanent!
