Meet Cassie Byrne, an Account Manager at Insight Global who went above and beyond for her candidate in need. Cassie found the perfect candidate for a role she was working to fill for a client. But when Cassie learned that she was going through a really tough time personally—losing her home, her car, and having her daughter hospitalized—she knew she had to step in to help. Cassie's candidate was scheduled for an interview, but with her daughter in the hospital on the same day, finding a replacement wasn’t the answer. Instead, Cassie reached out to the hiring manager and successfully rescheduled the interview to give her a fair chance. On the day of the rescheduled interview, Cassie drove to the shelter where her candidate was staying and picked her up personally to drive her when her Uber was running late. Despite all the challenges, she excelled in the interview and was offered the job on the spot due to her outstanding qualities. But Cassie’s support didn’t stop there. She also launched a GoFundMe to help her (now consultant!) secure stable housing in an extended stay while she saved up to find a permanent solution. Cassie’s extraordinary compassion not only helped her candidate get the job but also provided her with a fresh start. She is an amazing and caring person. This was a very sad, and all too common, situation that many are in today. To go above and beyond to help this woman the way she did, she should be at least managing others. We need more Cassie's out there. Great job! But I have never received any assistance from Insight Global including any follow up to posts, including rejection letters or calls. I've been out of work for over 4 mths now. Can't find anything at all. I'm sure my age is playing into it. We are running out of money. We, at times, can barely get any groceries. My two sons that live with me are getting bled dry financially and are not able to pay their bills let alone get on with their lives. We have had to float rent checks with bank but of course then the fees kick in. We're running out of time. The cycle is endless, and it's happen to so many ppl now.
Love to Cassie, it's always about people, in the end. Not automation, ATS, or any machine.
