Congratulations to our Senior Counsel, Sir Richard Douglas, who received a knighthood for services to the NHS in the King’s Birthday Honours. Richard served as the Director General for Finance in the Department of Health between 2007 and 2015, retiring as the longest standing finance director in central government. As Chair of South East London ICS, and non-Executive Director of DHSC, he’s still very actively engaged in NHS issues and his experience of driving change at both the national and local level is unmatched.
