We recently showcased LoopX AI-powered Collision Avoidance System (CAS) at the Rokion Sudbury Shop, demonstrating the power of AI in enhancing safety in mining operations. I'm thrilled to share the video from this demo, which vividly illustrates how our technology can help save lives. 🎥 Video Highlights: Demo 1. Reverse Operation Safety: Our system detects pedestrians behind vehicles, crucial in preventing collisions due to limited rear visibility. Demo 2. Forward Drive Alert: It warns of pedestrians in the path when driving forward, ensuring safety during simultaneous vehicle and pedestrian movements. Demo 3. Maintenance Area Security: Detects equipment operators working close to machinery, often unseen by vehicle operators, to prevent accidents. Demo 4. Darkness Detection: Utilizes Infrared camera and LiDAR to reliably identify pedestrians in low-light conditions typical of underground mines. Demo 5. Launch Zone Safety: Alerts operators to pedestrians hidden in blind spots during vehicle startups. Demo 6. Fallen Pedestrian Awareness: Identifies individuals in blind spots who are prone and potentially unseen. We are always looking to improve and innovate.
