Really thrilled about Royal Mail’s launch yesterday. An opportunity for other employers to reconsider how they provide pensions, with a view to improving member outcomes. We are grateful to Royal Mail for the opportunity to support them throughout their journey, and for their acknowledgment of our role. It's great to have been part of the team at WTW working on this, and to now see the hard work from that team and many others across the industry translating into a tangible benefit for thousands of Royal Mail employees. I also look forward to being able to answer the inevitable pub quiz question for years to come as to who was the UK's first CDC scheme actuary! Simon Eagle 😉

An important day for the pensions industry. Congratulations to all involved, particularly to Simon Eagle who has done so much work to develop CDC pensions.
