Who gets in... you decide. I fully appreciate elections are not decided on single issues. But it is easy to drown in all the information and promises made. So I I decided to take a deep breath and dive into the key policy pledges from the three traditional main parties, focusing specifically on their plans for the NHS. And, well, condense them. I recently conducted a poll that suggested that just over half of the respondents felt Labour would be the best choice for the future of the NHS, while the other 47% did not trust any party to get it right. Obviously, 'no party' isn't an option. Which leaves a choice between the Three main parties, unless you count Reform (please don't throw things at me, just a messenger). So what do they stand for? What are they pledging? Here is the most condensed version of the offerings from Labour, Conservatives, and Liberal Democrats that I could come up with. Do any of these speak to you? Are there some good policies that are just in the wrong party? Do you trust any of these promises to become reality? Most importantly, what's missing? Please give your views, but above all be respectful of differing opinions. #NHSPolicies #UKGeneralElection2024 #LabourNHS #ConservativeNHS #LibDemNHS #HealthcareFunding #MentalHealth #PrimaryCare #HealthTech #SocialCare

The election results of 2024 in the UK signifies an enormous loss for the Conservatives and a pivotal opportunity for the nation. It’s time to correct past missteps on immigration and the EU, tackle inflation, and work towards the betterment of working-class families. Let’s hope for a stable government and no more leadership crises like those seen in the last 14 Conservative years. This moment calls for unity and progressive policies that reflect the true values and aspirations of our society. Let’s seize this chance to build a fairer, more inclusive future for all. #PoliticalChange #UKPolitics #ConservativesDefeated #NewBeginnings #ImmigrationReform #EUTies #WorkingClassRights #SocialJustice #InclusivePolicies #ProgressiveUK #EqualityForAll #FutureOfUK #PoliticalRevolution #HopeAndChange #BetterUK #UnityInDiversity #PolicyReform #CambridgePolitics #UKElections #PeopleFirst #TackleInflation #StableGovernment https://lnkd.in/gX4uyDUJ

As the #GeneralElection is almost upon us, you may have read key party manifesto pledges regarding the #NHS. But what will truly fix the #waitinglists issue?🤔 ❓What is the history of the decisions that have led to the current state of the waiting lists? ❓What has worked before and what can help now and the future? ❓Can the promises being made now, especially by The Labour Party - who is likely to be in power come 5th July, truly curb the growth? At Acumentice , we never take anything on the face of it, so we decided to do some rapid data analysis on *all* the historic waiting list information available publicly and bring you this white paper pre election. (We may have enjoyed doing it too! 😁 ) “Reducing NHS waiting lists from historic highs - the political policies that led to the current state and how to solve it” This paper provides an analysis from 2007–2024 of the opportunities to clearing the backlog and reduce waiting list sizes to sustainable levels, including an assessment of Labour’s pledge. Here you can read a sneaky summary, but to read the full paper with all its pretty data analysis – please go to: https://cdn.prod.website -https://lnkd.in/gCuTH-vT #electivecare #dataanalysis #whitepaper

You will have woken up to the news this morning of a new Labour government. Regardless of your political affiliation, something that concerns us all is the current state of the NHS. The Labour Party has pledged to get the NHS back on its feet. This will require a lot of change to address serious, complex, and longstanding challenges. One thing does not change, however: the need to put patients first. Labour’s manifesto points to how it will achieve its pledge, including: 🏥 Modernising the NHS 🏠 Delivering healthcare closer to home 🧠 Improving mental health 📈 Introducing an NHS innovation and adoption strategy 👨👩👧👦 Putting patients at the heart of their own healthcare At Big Health, we look forward to supporting these priorities and remain as committed as ever to helping the NHS increase access to treatment, tackle overprescribing, and improve productivity - all in service of putting patients first. To dive deeper into what this change means, read the full Labour Party manifesto here: https://lnkd.in/e9CjYsHb or take a look at the summaries on Simple Politics social channels.

RESTORE PEOPLE-FOCUS IN UK HEALTHCARE The UK Government has been centralising public healthcare provision for decades, meaning that British People find it increasingly difficult to access hospitals. Centralised hubs are not People-Focused or Patient-Focused. Although there are many individual healthcare workers who do a great job, Government policy has failed them and failed ordinary Brits. Chan Abraham is standing as Huntingdon's INDEPENDENT MP with allegiance first and foremost to the The People of Huntingdon who have lost key aspects of healthcare services in their communities. He is clear that the only way forward is to form A People's Parliament in the forthcoming UK General Election and remove the disastrous grip of the decaying legacy poltical Parties - all of them! The date of the 2024 UK General Election has not been announced but here is one INDEPENDENT who is ready to serve The People.
