Everyone is hiring talented individuals for a dynamic team. No one is hiring skilled individuals for a stable team. Not everyone is born with talent. Sometimes, a person can be a really good fit for a team based on the years of hands-on experience that he/she has. They might not have the talent, but they have spent years mastering a skill. And why is no one looking for a stable team? Who wants to work in a constant state of change and chaos? It's a recipe for burn-out, confusion and frustration for all team members, tbh. Companies should really promote themselves as a safe and stable place of work rather than an institution that is constantly on the verge of an explosion. #contentmarketingagency #contentwriting #freelancers #hiring #digitalmarketing #contentediting #agencies #corporatelife

CEO of FullFind | I've placed over 60+ overseas talent to Hollywood producers, Fortune 500 companies & 7-figure brands - saving them $1 million+ in the process
It is very easy for candidates to lie. It is common for people to bend the truth a little bit to get what you want. This includes your remote talent. This is why it is the age of skill-based hiring. But most roles will need more than a specific skill. For example: a video editor needs to be able to understand a bit of copywriting, content strategy or even SEO. Here are 2 types of skills that you need to test: #1 Core Skill Test their role-specific skills by using a past brief or task from your company. Test the candidates for 2 things: Speed and Quality Speed: The result they can produce within a tight deadline (1-3 hours) Quality: The result they can produce given enough time (24-48 hours) I believe that this approach, combining real tasks with a structured deadline, will clearly distinguish skilled workers from unskilled ones. #2 Complimentary Skills You also need to test the candidates’ complimentary skills that will support their core skills. I believe that being a ‘video editor’ isn’t just about inserting fancy motion graphics. It’s about understanding content strategy, audience research and copywriting. The best remote talent understands that their core skill is not enough. To be the best, they need to learn complimentary skills that help support the outcome of their deliverable. You want videos that get views. You want blog posts that get traffic. You want client communications that result in retention. Ultimately, these are all achieved by combining a talent’s core skill with complimentary skills. That’s why at FullFind, we test these complimentary skills. And you should too.

🚫 Stop posting fake and copy-pasted job offers, especially for remote work, before a campaign starts and your account gets banned. 🚫 ⚠️ If anyone asks for comments below promising to check your profile or if anyone says, "These companies are hiring for totally remote work," don't let them get away with it. ⚠️ They're likely trying to manipulate you. If they were genuine, they wouldn't need such tactics. If they were really hiring, you wouldn't have to post about it here. If you must copy and paste, at least share valuable content. 📈 You'll get the reach you want from that, rather than from fake posts and false reach. 🚫📋 Tag them below and let them know.
