Video of my stores celebration and also, simple explanation about this day..✨ It is nice to share this video of our staff’ performance، on FD.. In fact, this day is very important, so we also took advantage of it to convert the FF.. And there is our benefit for the future:: First ((employees)) - Their distinct feeling that the company is respected them as a family, with respect for their customs and cultures.. ((This increases their productivity in the future, as well as a feeling of stability and reduces attrition)). Second ((customers)) - Attracting them to our brand, making them feel the friendliness, cooperation and closeness of the staff. -Marketing the brand to customers who do not know about us. ((Come back to us again in the future, like when seeing our new products to think about coming back at the time of salaries,)).. In the end …✨ He who has no good for his country and his family has no good in anything🫰✨

After 6 years I’ve left retail and working at Sainsbury’s. Just wanted to highlight that it plays an important role in getting your foot in the door of the working world. Wether you see yourself there for a year or 25 year’s, being a future manager or just a part time gig, supermarkets and retail are great for student employment and learning transferable skills and how to talk to older people, colleagues, and members of the public. In times of underfunded community hubs, supermarkets often take the place of such hubs, where else do you see such eclectic mixes of people on a daily basis? So just a little insight to maybe change your perception of retail and supermarkets from something mundane and boring to something that Brings people together.

Big thanks to store colleagues at Tesco Irlam and Tesco Chester Centre stores who have hosted me this week for ‘Feet on the Floor’! It’s been great to meet and spend time with the teams and I’ve been greeted with a welcoming smile every time 🤩 The Cranswick team are committed to spending time in store throughout the year, however this time of year means we get the opportunity to work as part of a store team! I’ve gained so much in the past from doing similar exercises, so this year it was something I was super keen to dedicate some time to again - and I’ve learned so much again! A couple of key take aways for me: • 📦 Shelf ready packaging - there are some fantastic examples out there, unfortunately there are some really poor examples still too. Board grade, size versus shelf size, perforations, 2-piece versus 1-piece debate - getting this right means that the the store team will utilise it for its intended use and it won’t look messy on shelf! 📦 • ➡️ Products should be packed by suppliers so they are shelf facing when put out - if they’re the wrong way around, the consumer can’t see the product properly in store! Is this part of your packing quality standards? Do you check this routinely? ➡️ • 🤝 A team of people working together is the superpower that helps deliver right first time every time - it’s been great to see how different skills within teams have been understood by managers and team leaders and then utilised to help deliver specific tasks/roles 🤝 Really do encourage everyone to take up this opportunity - so many ideas and learnings to take back and share! 💡 Great to interact with customers buying our products too - some great feedback! If anyone needs to know where the pigs in blankets, festive ham or gammons are in these stores, let me know 🤣 Customers are more often than not very well mannered and kind; unfortunately a few exceptions seen this time around though. Encouraging everyone to be kind, always 💙 🧑🎄 🎄 Merry Christmas! 🎄 🧑🎄 P.S. Tesco still do a free carrot for Rudolph which is my second favourite initiative after the healthier kids, happier shopping initiative where kids get a free piece of fruit! 🥕🍎

Sharing my frustrating experience with the hiring systems of Tesco and Sainsbury's, boots, aldi Despite having relevant experience, I've applied for multiple positions at both companies, only to be met with silence. It seems their hiring systems are heavily reliant on references, rather than merit.I believe this approach is flawed and unfair. (I’m dearly loved by our Technology Team) ❌ Drove 2.5 hours to a store event and left all the materials I needed….in my garage. ❌ Finally gave in to fully utilizing my archnemesis…………aka TEAMS. ❌ Forgot all of my talking points, every last one of them…..during a LIVE interview. ❌ Typed “lettuce” instead of “let us” in several emails…. to several different people. ….and I wouldn’t change a thing‼️ #WeAreKroger #EmployerofChoice
