As an experienced senior finance recruiter, I've observed some common missteps even the most seasoned Senior Finance Professionals make when attempting to secure top talent. Mistake 1 and, believe this or not, overlooking cultural fit Focusing solely on skills and qualifications while downplaying the importance of cultural fit can be detrimental. The most financially proficient candidate may not thrive if they clash with the company's ethos and values.
