This question is being presented in a presentation I'm prepping for this week. Organizers specifically asked to have work/life balance addressed. But here's the thing...I don't think work and life balance. We usually spend more time at one or the other throughout our day. So the term just feels off. And if we go a bit further and realize we have 168 hours to live each week, we understand that most of use don't have 84 hour work weeks (at least not every week!) Most of us would want more "life" than work in our 168 weekly hours. Our days, weeks, months and years typically never balance. So ultimately LIFE wins. So the question becomes, "What are you doing in those unbalance hours of LIFE that fulfill you or energize you?" #worklifebalance #workculture #seniorliving

At best it can be our best, not entirely complete or one hundred percent. There is no 100% success in all walks of life. If we succeed in our jobs, we may fail in maintaining a good work life balance. We may fail in giving quality time to our family. If we succeed in our family life, we may fail in our business venture. We may fail in keeping our employees happy. We may fail in our spiritual pursuit. We may fail in our life purpose and goals. A failure is inevitable somewhere or the other, no matter how hard we try. It's better not to worry too much about everything. Let's prioritise our needs and achieve our best. In the end, our best is our best. #life #venkyvibes

✍ As professionals, we often find ourselves caught up in the hustle and bustle of work life. However, it is important to remember that life is about balance, and spending quality time with family is an essential aspect to that #balance. ⛳ ☘ This past weekend, I made a conscious effort to disconnect from work and spend some much-needed time with my family. We spent the day exploring a local park, having a picnic, and just enjoying each other's company. It was the perfect reminder of what truly matters and allowed me to recharge for the upcoming #workweek. 🍰 🏖 While dedicating time to work is important, it is equally important to allocate time to our personal #lives as well. Finding a healthy work-life balance can positively impact both our mental health and work productivity. As we continue to navigate these uncertain times and work from home, it becomes even more critical to take breaks and prioritize our personal lives. Remember to make time for those who matter most and find activities that bring joy and relaxation. Let's strive for balance and not forget the importance of our loved ones. How did you spend your weekend balancing work and personal life? Share in the comments below!

Work-Life Balance….Because Life's Too Short to Be All Work and No Play Hey everyone! Tonight I wanted to share one of the reasons I love the organization I work in. Just here reflecting and realizing how blessed I really am! My boss totally gets that life isn't just about the 9-to-5 grind. Having a great work-life balance means we're happier, more creative, and just plain better at what we do. As a single mom, having this flexibility and leadership who value work-life balance is absolutely critical. It allows me to be there for my kid when she needs me and still bring my best self to work every day. I'm super lucky to be part of a team that values downtime and understands that recharging our batteries is just as important as hitting those deadlines. Whether it's spending time with family, pursuing hobbies, or just kicking back with some Netflix, we’re encouraged to enjoy life outside of work. To all the companies, departments and leaders out there: it is so very important to make sure your employees have the time and flexibility they need to live their best lives. Happy employees make for a thriving workplace, and that's a win-win for everyone! Grind, but don’t forget to live! That’s all. That’s the post. #WorkLifeBalance #HappyEmployees #ThrivingTogether #TeamCulture #Grateful

🎡 I'm sure you've all heard of the wheel of fortune. But what about the wheel of life? 🔄 At Flexee, we define work life balance (WLB) as a state of well-being that can be maintained through effective management of multiple work and non-work responsibilities, with minimal negative impact. But in reality, what constitutes work life balance means something different to everyone. And that depends on the things that are important to you at this specific stage of your life. We need to be flexible with our flexibility! 💪 We can't change what we can't measure and work life balance is a very difficult thing to quantify. BUT the wheel of life is a pretty good way to start. 🎡 Score each area of your life, at this current moment from 0 to 10, with zero being highly unsatisfied and 10 being highly satisfied. If you are highly unsatisfied with one specific area, take the time to think about the things that you might need to change in order to improve your score. Action these changes. Repeat your wheel in 3 - 4 months time and measure the difference (don’t worry, we’ll remind you). 🔄 Comment LIFE below and we'll send you a wheel of your very own for you to map out your satisfaction in each area of your life. 📈 #wheelofortune #wheeloflife #worklifebalance #flexibleworking #veterinarymedicine #wlb #findyourflex 🐾

Work-life balance is bullsh*t. True fulfillment is not about working and retiring. It's about working on something you love so much you don't want to retire. The best work-life balance for the ultra-ambitious is like a swinging pendulum. Hustle, Burn the candle at both ends, And push yourself to your limits. Then, Recharge, Find your inner peace, And spend time with loved ones. The pendulum swings to one extreme, then the other. Work crazy hours when you feel like it, but then recharge. These two extremes might be separated by weeks or even months. The seasons of life for ultra-ambitious people don't allow for the traditional concept of work-life balance.

Achieving work-life balance has long been a struggle for many. Traditionally, we've been conditioned to adhere to the old way: the relentless 9-5 grind, living for the weekends, and sacrificing our health for the sake of success. But it's time for a paradigm shift. It's time to embrace a new way of living and working—one that prioritizes joy, flexibility, and holistic well-being. Instead of merely surviving the workweek, let's strive to find joy in every moment, whether it's in the office or at home. Let's break free from rigid schedules and embrace flexible working hours that allow us to honor our personal needs and passions. True work-life balance is about harmonizing our careers with our overall wellness. It's about recognizing that success isn't just measured by our professional achievements, but by the quality of our lives as a whole. So, let's choose balance. Let's choose life. Let's commit to cultivating a lifestyle that nourishes our bodies, minds, and spirits, while still pursuing our career aspirations. Together, let's redefine what it means to thrive in both work and life. Let's create a world where joy, fulfillment, and well-being are at the forefront of our priorities. #WorkLifeBalance #NewParadigm #Flexibility #Wellness #Joy #HolisticLiving #CareerGoals #ChooseBalance #ChooseLife #QualityOfLife #Mindfulness #Reflection #PersonalGrowth #ProfessionalDevelopment #Harmony #Empowerment #Motivation #Inspiration VC: Copyright to the respective video owner

We are all striving for our own perfect balance. Trying our hardest not to fall in the sea (like little Millie and Charley here!) It’s a common feeling for many parents that finding a work life balance is almost impossible to achieve. And to a certain degree it is. In striving in our own careers, whilst being there for our families, all whilst juggling the other million demands life throws. Something or someone will always be out of kilter. Instead of striving for the perfect balance, I like to re-frame the thought to focus on boundaries. If you are feeling an imbalance right now, think about your own boundaries. What do you need or want to put in place to help you to re-calibrate across areas of your life. Do you need to get to a spin class twice a week? Can you rework your diary so you can get back for 3 bedtimes? Can you create space once a month for you and your partner? Can you try not logging on in the evening twice a week? Whatever you feel you need to help you create space for your own well-being (emotionally and physically) it will only lead to benefit you. And remember, it’s all a work in progress. We will all fall in the sea at some point, but you're close enough to the side to step back out, readjust your balance and try again. #worklifebalance #backtowork #returntowork #boundaries #parentingcoach #backtoworkcoach #maternityleave

I have a confession to make… We all talk about work life balance. But what does it actually mean to you and how can we achieve it? Last Saturday I worked late into the evening, something Im doing more and more often! However I spent the full day with family, laughing , enjoying a lovely meal and planning our summer holiday. I disconnected from all technology and was fully present. I found my balance, but must confess its something I can often struggle with! The last few months Ive learned to set boundaries between work and personal life, such as establishing specific working hours and avoiding work-related activities during my personal time. I plan out a schedule, create to-do lists, and focus on the most important tasks. I avoid multitasking and practice time management techniques, to increase productivity and reduce stress! I’ve also learned to delegate tasks and responsibilities to others when possible. This is again something I genuinely struggle with! I like to do things myself! Have you figured out what works best for you? Or are you struggling to find your own balance in life? #worklifebalance #confessions #propertyinvestment #productivity #scottishproperty

🚫 Work / Life Balance, - we’ve got it all wrong I think, we’re asking the wrong question Okay friends, this topic has me fairly worked up. And what do you do when you’re worked up over something, you post it on the internet (what could possibly go wrong?). 🎥 I’m confident many won’t agree with what I’m saying in this video, but that’s cool. In fact, that’s great. Let’s dialogue on it so we can come up with something better than the work/life balance, or work/life integration, or work/life harmony, or work/[fill in the blank] question we’ve saddled ourselves with and haven’t been able to answer and feel good about. You deserve it. #worklifebalance, #fulfillment, #workplaceculture, #redefiningwork
