The European Sustainable Development Week #SEDD2024 presents an excellent opportunity to explore the concept of circular economy. Are you familiar with it? For Orange Business, this topic is critical as we deploy various IT and network equipment, devices, and servers for our customers—items that were previously discarded after use. However, "no longer used" does not equate to "no longer usable." Our primary mission is to maintain equipment operational for as long as possible, and sometimes this means giving it a second life. We have established procedures to collect, repair, reuse, remanufacture, or recycle hardware assets based on their condition. Implementing this requires time and, importantly, strong collaboration with both our customers for equipment collection and our suppliers for refurbishment or recycling.
