On Friday in New York City I had the opportunity to meet the new cohort of founders in the Andreessen Horowitz TxO initiative and witness the magic of Kofi Ampadu and his team at a16z. When Caitlin Glazebrook invited me to become a TxO mentor I didn't know much about the world of venture capital but I was inspired by their mission to create community for under-networked founders. Getting to work with the next generation of passionate entrepreneurs like Niki Shamdasani and her beautiful brand, Sani, has been rewarding in more ways than I could have imagined.
