Or will the work of care remain hidden, Under the cloak of motherhood Behind the “supermom” cape Beneath the stigma for fathers Who dare to care out loud? Between the parents who don’t fit neatly into “mom” or “dad” ? Will we design workplaces to acknowledge the unpaid “second shifts” of the vast majority of the workforce (The “second shifts” that raised the CEOs that now mandate RTO …?) And arrange a flow that honors caregivers’ humanity (instead of pretending that life and work can somehow be bifurcated in the name of productivity)?
