PREPARATION & SUBMISSION OF THE NHS PENSION YEAR-END: Tuesday 7th May: 9.30am – 13.00 pm The preparation and submission of the Pension Year-End presents challenges for Employers due to the infrequency of the task and remains part of your “Employer Obligations” All NHS Employers must ensure that they are fully compliant with their Employer Obligations and it is important to note that the outsourcing of the payroll and/or the pension function does not discharge your legal obligations. Ask yourself: "Am I confident that I am doing everything correctly?" It is important to note that the information submitted at the Year-End data directly influences the accrual of a range of Scheme Benefits including Retirement Benefits. Question: Who should attend workshop? Answer: Anyone who is involved in the administration of the NHS Pension Scheme(s) including professionals working in the Finance Directorate, Human Resources Directorate, Payroll Team, Pension Team, Pensions Online Administrators and Outsourced Payroll and/or Pension Providers.
